One last Post...

Tuesday 5/30

This might be our most "normal" day of the week.  We will have a special presentation from former ACMS students (now Inspire students) about pollination in the morning.  We will spend time finishing up our creative stories and other projects.  I'll be giving some ST Math time for those who want to try to meet their goal by Wednesday!  Monday folders will go home for the last time.  They do not have to be returned.  There will be no homework this week.  

Wednesday 5/31

Bike Day!  Please bring a set of wheels (bike or scooter) and a helmet to school.  2nd graders can park their bikes between the Staff Room and 3rd grade.  We will be riding our wheels at different times in the afternoon.  If you have questions or need help, please contact me.

3rd Trimester Awards at 8:30 in the MPR.  The class will then leave with Mrs. Fogel for "Move Up Day."  They are going to LOVE her!  

Thursday 6/1

Turtle Bay Field Trip!  We will be leaving from ACS around 8:30.  Please come to our classroom around 8:15 to check in with me so I can give you directions and other information.  The students should wear their HATS! performance shirts and free dress bottoms.  Please send them with sunscreen already on and a watterbottle.  We will collect lunches before we leave so we can have Turtle Bay hold them for us until lunch.  If you ordered a lunch from school, we will have that already packed.  Don't forget to send a car seat or booster if your child requires one.  We will aim to be back by 2:30.  If you have any questions, please contact me ASAP.  

Friday 6/2

The last day of 2nd Grade!  There is so much going on this week, I thought it would be easy for kids to bring a snack to share (enough for 10-12 kids).  We will save the last hour of the day (11:30-12:30) for our "party."  We will watch a slide show of pictures (if you have any you would like to share, please email them to me!) and will celebrate a wonderful year together.  You are more than welcome to drop in between 11:30-12:30 to celebrate with us!
