By popular request, I am scheduling another field trip to Upper Bidwell Park.  We will be studying the geology of the park, hiking, and geocaching.  Friday, May 15th is the date.  We will leave as soon as possible after flag salute and arrive back at Achieve in time for dismissal.  Plan on attending if possible.  It will be a great day with the kids.  No cost for this trip!

We also have our Turtle Bay end of the year trip scheduled for June 2.  Mark it on your calendar.  

I also have a call in to go back to Atria, the convalescent hospital we visited in the fall.  I plan to take the students back to sing.  This one will be a short one, only about an hour round trip.  Stay tuned.  It will be late in May.

Plan on coming out May 14th with your whole family.  We have lots of fun science activities planned for everyone to participate in.  

We recently started our money unit.  Practice counting money with your child.  They will counting combinations of coins and bills.  Have them count thier piggy banks, change at the grocery store, couch cushion findings.  Whatever.  Just get them counting money.  

Put May 14th on your calender.  From Kindergarten to 3rd grade we have will fun, hands on, science demonstrations to try out.  It should be a great night of play-learning with your children and getting a higher level of scientific understanding.
