History Night Sucess! Thanks to everyone who came out for History Night! It was a great time of celebrating learning with the students. They were very proud of their video. I am proud of them for making such great connections and struggling to understand the impact these heros have had on our society. Science Time!I am super excited to be starting our next science unit now that History Night is over. We are going to begin with some general studies on matter. As we gain a foundational understanding, we will move into experimentation. This week we begin by examining the properties of solids, liquids and gasses. We are looking especially forward to Mia's dad coming in with some fun science experiments! Thanks Ryan! Math Facts ProThe students began using mathfactspro.com in class today. I will begin to integrate this into homework over the comming weeks. Check it out at home and let me know how everything is working. This is a great way to get your child memorizing math facts. 2nd TrimesterThe second trimester ends this week in 2nd grade. Mrs. Matz and I are busy assessing students to find current levels. I will include PLP times in the email this week. If your time doesn't work, please let me know. I look forward to meeting with each of you.
