Homework

Writing a holiday story the week before each break has become a bit of a tradition this year.  The students have loved sharing these with the class.  This week's homework is to write an Easter or Spring Themed story.  Go any direction you like.  Please edit the story for your child.  Turn in a final draft and all other drafts on Friday.  Doesn't need to be too long.  Go for interesting and entertaining over length.  If you have any questions let me know.

Spring Break!!!

Spring Break is here!  I hope everyone gets to enjoy some amazing family time.  I will be sending home an optional Spring Break Homework Packet.  All students who complete the packet will be invited to a smoothie party.  Check out the packet for more details.  

Math

These students continue to amaze.  We are finishing with our chapter on adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers this week.  They now know addition and subtraction problems so well, they can setup a problem that will include regrouping in any place value you request and then solve the problem.  We will be starting with some new skills like Geometry after the break.
