Famous Person Unit

Our famous person unit is off to a great start.  The students have been assigned their person to study.  This week we will begin gathering facts and learning about each person in class.  Please try to spend a little time learning at home too.  Check out some youtube videos or head to the library.  Next week we will begin making a scrapbook of the life of the famous person.  Thursday February 5 will be our film day.  Students should come to school that day dressed as their famous person.  If you need costume ideas, let me know. 

Child Of The World

Our big production will be January 29 at 5:00.  You won't want to miss out.  The students are doing great.  It should be an entertaining show.  If for some reason you are not able to come that night, please let us know ahead of time so we can get each speaking part covered.  The students should wear their matching shirts and blue pants/ skirts. 

Homework

Only math this week.  Any one math activity can be replaced with 20 minutes of Moby Max.  Just do 20 minutes of Moby Max, write Moby Max on the top of the assignment and then don't do the assignment.  Only can be used once.
