Addition With Regrouping

Our big goal for this week is to master addition with regrouping and take the test.  Most students can add two digit numbers.  They should also be able to talk about what they are doing, set up problems and tell whether or not they should regroup and why.  Here are a couple of videos to help you out. Famous Person Project Update

The students were so excited to begin researching last week.  We will spend this week researching as well.  As the students find interesting information, they have to sort the facts into different categories such as Childhood Information, Education Information, Hard times and challenges or Why they are famous.  Keep looking up info at home.  The students are becoming experts!
