Google Report

I had a great time at the Google Apps for Educators Summit this last week.  I came home with some new things to try in class and some new ideas for Achieve.  My report to parents would be that your students have been using cutting edge, industry leading products already.  Mr. VanRoekel and I learned many new ways students can use these tools to better collaborate and teachers can be more efficient.  I will keep you updated as we try new things.

History Night

Most students have just one page to finish in their scrapbook before History Night.  I have been impressed with the level of critical thinking these students have done throughout the unit.  Come on to History Night on Thursday night to read about some famous people and watch our video.  The students did great on their skits last week.  It should be an entertaining movie.
