Thank You!

A shout out to all the parents that drove on our field trip last week!  We couldn't have done it without you!  Thank you for time and for being safe drivers in the rain!  It was so nice to get out of the classroom after a week of indoor recess and PE!  Thanks again!

This Week...

No School:  Friday, February 17 and Monday, February 20.  

Valentine's Day Party:  Tuesday, February 14 from 1-2:30.  We will be having milk and cookies after we hand out our valentines.  Thank you to those of you who were able to help/contribute to the party!

Biographies:  The kids have been working so hard on their biographies in class.  We will be finishing up the scrapbooks this week as well as filming.  Be thinking of how your studnet can dress up as their famous person.  Again, I'm not expecting elaborate costumes, just simple props that will help them get into character.  After we look through all of our props, I might need a few more things for costumes.  Keep your eye out for an email with some requests.  

History Night:  Tuesday, February 21

Math:  We took our Chapter 9 test on Friday.  The students did great!  We will be starting Chapter 10, place values up to 1,000.  

PLP's:  March 2 & 3.  There will be a sign up link emailed to you within the next week or so.

Star Homework

This will be a short week so the Homework load will be light.  The two options will be reading (always!) and/or spelling.  Spelling Tic Tac Toe will be available in the class if they want it.  You can always choose to do some math...that's totally up to you!
