I just have to start with a little thank you to all of the amazing parents in this class. Thanks to everyone who came out to watch the kids sing last week. It was a great opportunity for them. Mrs. Wright, Mrs. Matz and I have also been noticing many little things that you all just do that make our school better. Thank you! Christmas Show - Thursday @CMAPlease have your children at the CMA church between 6:00 and 6:15. The students should come sit with me and the rest of the class. Have the students dress Christmassy. It looks to be a great show. Atria Show - Next FridayPermission slips will go home Tuesday. We will be gone only about an hour total. If you can drive please indicate on the permission slip. You will want to see the 2nd graders perform! When we return we will have some Christmas Party treats and games. Brain ExerciseLast week we learned how to play Speed Stacks - click here to check it out. This week we will learn how to play Chess. Through out this process we will talk about the best ways to learn and practice new tasks. Next Friday, as part of our Christmas Party, we will have some friendly competetions. Please come in and hang out and join in with the kids. Famous Person ProjectWow, nice effort put forth last week on the homework assignment. I think everyone ended up with their first or second choice. We will start this project in full force after the break. Feel free to get a head start learning about your person over the break.
