1st Day!!!

Essential Info:

We had a great first day of school in 2nd Grade.  You all have some amazing kids.  I'm sure you have questions already.  Email is usually the best way to reach me.  [email protected].  This class has a couple of other ways to share info.  One is this blog.  If you questions that others have too, feel free to ask in the comments below the post so we can all be on the same page.  You know, stuff like, "Mr. Wright, you said we are having a field trip next week, but you didn't say when or where?"  I also really like the facebook group.  It is a great tool, keep using it.  I will check it, but tag me if you need something.  

I'll try to anticipate some questions you may have.  One I've had already is homework.  I do send a packet like in 1st grade.  I had a request to send it home before the weekend, and I like that idea.  So I will send homework home on Friday and it will be due the following Friday.  There will not be any more homework, just more time to work on it.  I'll give more info at Back to School Night.  Another question is parent help.  The times will be in the afternoon, Mon-Wed, 12:30-?  I will have signups at Back to School Night.

Lastly, this is my weekly newsletter.  I usually send a link home Monday morning reminding you to check it out.  It shows up great on your phone.
